What a great find. I was visiting in town and was on the way to the Breakfast Shack and when I parked in front of HIS Barber Shop, I thought I might be in one of their spots. So, I put my name in at the Breakfast Shack and decided to get a hair cut while there. What a great decision. Very professional, courteous, fun, and genuine. What a great experience!
My son and I had the best experience here! The entire staff was so friendly and made the entire experience go so smoothly. My son is almost 2 and this was his 2nd cut. I was nervous because the 1st one was disastrous - he cried the whole time (different barber shop). Jesus was his barber for this cut and he was absolutely amazing. Not only did he give my son the best cut, but he was so great with him too. My son was calm for the entire experience and I am so thankful to Jesus for that. We will definitely be coming back for all future cuts with him. Big thank you to Jesus and Mark for making this such a wonderful experience for us both from start to finish. Highly recommend!
Jesus did an amazing job on my 2 year old son... he was incredibly patient, and didn't rush. When my son got a little scared, the guys in the shop came over with a selection of toys and treats, which helped him immediately calm down. My son felt at ease and the haircut was one of the best he's had to date. Highly recommend the shop, and Jesus!!
I cannot recommend Mark and Javier from HIS Barber Shop in Redlands enough. From the moment we walked in, Mark went above and beyond to connect with my autistic son. He didn’t rush into the haircut; instead, he took the time to build a relationship first. He offered my son candy, toys, and most importantly, comfort, before even getting him in the chair. Mark introduced himself slowly and made sure they both knew each other’s names before starting. His approach was patient, kind, and thoughtful. When it came time for the haircut, Mark worked quickly yet professionally, showing exceptional skill. My son, who usually struggles with haircuts, was able to sit through the entire session thanks to Mark’s understanding and ability to maneuver through the challenges. The result? The best haircut my son has ever had—hands down. We’ve visited numerous barbershops, and none come close to the experience or quality we received here. This is now our go-to barbershop. Javier also did an incredible job with our youngest son, who is just one and a half years old. He recognized when Christian needed a break and used the TV, toys, and snacks to keep him calm and entertained. Javier blended his hair beautifully, and Mark even helped keep Christian occupied during the process. The teamwork between them was seamless, making the entire experience stress-free for both of our children. HIS Barber Shop offers a level of professionalism and genuine care that is hard to find. The shop itself is spotless and decorated with law enforcement patches, which highlights their commitment to the community. On top of their barbering skills, they also offer prayers, reflecting their faith and values, which creates a welcoming and respectful environment. Found out about this barber shop on easter walking into church by a flyer card from a sharp dressed young man... yesterday Tuesday 4/22/2025 took 2 of my boys 11 and 12 in for an amazing experience great barbershop decorated well. It was like the presence of God was hovering in the atmosphere exchanged testimonies with brother mark i was sent by divine appointment truly a godsent and they have a Tuesday special 25 great value
Mark and Nicholas took such great care of my kiddo today. Haircuts have been difficult for my autistic son all his life, so I went before hand to talk with Mark and see if they would be able to accommodate him. Mark assured me they would take great care of him, and let me say my expectations were not only met, but exceeded. Nicholas got him in & out of the chair super quickly with a great cut and my son left grinning - never thought I’d see that happen. Can’t recommend His Barbershop enough!
